Posted by Jessica on May 26, 2009 During our time in Spain, there were only a handful of restaurants we could afford. I suppose some might point out how much enjoyment we missed, sampling tapas and sangria in the country that has perfected them both. But I wouldn't trade away any of our picnics by the sea. To me, they are some of our most quintessential memories as backpackers.

Posted by Tim on Sep 18, 2005 From our hotel window you can see the Mediterranean Sea, and it is exactly the color I always imagined it would be. We're in a city called Málaga, on the southern coast of Spain, and here it seems to always be hot, sunny, and happy.

Posted by Jessica on Sep 11, 2005 We’ve been in Madrid for a few days now, and today we visited the Centro de Arte Sophia Reina. The main reason for our visit was to see something I have wanted to see since my first year of Spanish class in high school: Pablo Picasso’s master work, Guernica.
