Thirteen More of Our Favorite Photos

For those of you keeping score, Tim and I have been in Turkey for about 3 weeks now (and loving every minute of it). We can't wait to tell you about our time here so far, but first we have just a few more stories to share about England.

Before we get to those stories, though, we wanted to share some more of our favorite photos. We realized that other than our favorites from the Galapagos Islands, we haven't shared any more of our favorites since our time in Peru (which was nearly 4 months ago). So it's high time we shared some more of them, right? Right.

We've chosen 13 photos this time and they cover our time in Ecuador (except the Galapagos Islands), Spain, England, and a sneak peek at Turkey. Of course, all of the photos have stories, but not all of them have been shared on the website yet. We're tricky like that, it keeps you guys on your toes.

So in the meantime, before we get to telling additional England stories or new Turkey stories, we hope you enjoy some more of our favorite photos...

Hmmm…on reflection, I'm not entirely sure what's on his head. It's definitely an animal of sorts though.

Cute story: we visited this Medicine Man when we were at the Yachana Lodge in the Amazon Jungle. He's a practicing Medicine Man and many of the locals visit him too. Anyway, when I asked if I could take his picture he walked away without saying anything, leading me to believe he didn't want his picture taken. Needless to say I was surprised when he walked back to me holding his two spears and positioned himself for that wonderful shot. :)

What is the deal with Gordon Lightfoot? I am so confused! I need some sort of "Idiot's Guide to Understanding Philsie's Jokes." Hmm… maybe I did bust a few brain cells flyng into that ravine…

It's a reference to a website that Tim, Philip, and I love called HomestarRunner.com. :)

Your pics are amazing as always. I seriously think that National Geo is the poorer for not having you on its staff. And no I am not biased about either of you!

God, you kids have an amazing eye for photography. These are beautiful.

And at the risk of sounding repetitious: *envious sigh*

My Response: Ah, I thought it might have to do with that insane site, but I wasn't sure. Thanks for filling me in and making me unconfused. Now if I could just become a weebel that doesn't fall down life would be great… 8 o P

Certain weebles fall down, but that's mainly because they're tired. Hedgehogs indeed rule and I hope you have fun looking at the other webiste. *Cheers!*
