Hedgehogs Without Borders

On March 3, 2005, Jessica and Tim set off on an epic 18-month round-the-world adventure. That trip may be over now, but the storytelling has only just begun!

This website is here both as a record of our trip and a resource for other travelers. Please feel free to leave us a comment at the bottom of our journal entries!

Twelve of my Favorite Photos Posted by Jessica on Jul 13, 2005 | 3654 reads

The Lost City of Machu Pi...

It’s been several months since Tim shared thirteen of his favorite photos, and we thought it was high time I posted some of my favorites. The time frame for my favorite photos begins after the photos in Tim’s post and includes many stops that we haven’t written about yet, including our most recent stop: Machu Picchu, Peru. (Please note: These photos are not in chronological order. I’m wild and crazy like that.)

Like Tim’s post, about half of these photos are ones that I took and the other half are photos that Tim took. Who took which picture is unimportant, but what is important is our memories that come with each one. It sounds crazy, but I think our memories and experiences just keep getting better and better as the trip goes on, and I’m so absolutely thrilled every time we look over our photos together.

Rest assured that these new photos as well as about 500 more will be posted to Our Photo Gallery within the next month or so. But until that time, I hope you enjoy twelve of my favorite photos.

Wowsers! Those are really great shots, Jess. That last Machu Picchu shot is fantastic!

However, are there no women in South America showing cleavage? :-)

Jess:

The pictures are beautiful. Girl you did the right thing by leaving ARC and following your dreams. Enjoy, be safe and we miss you. Continue to follow your dreams and do you.

I’m so living vicariously through you. Just…wow. I would never have been able to step outside my worries long enough to do something like this; I’m glad you two are braver. And smarter.
