Our Favorite Photos and Videos

During our 18 month trip around the world, we accumulated over 30,000 photos. And during our travels since then, we've taken another 10,000 photos and counting. That doesn't even take into account the thousand or so videos we've shot too!

Eleven Photos from the Bay of Fundy
The Bay of Fundy is home to one of the highest vertical tidal ranges in the world, which is a fancy way of saying it's a great place to see how much the tide goes in and out. At low tide, you can find yourself walking along a beach that mere hours before was the ocean floor.

Thirteen Favorite Photos of Nicaragua
We had never been to Nicaragua before, or even Central America, but somehow our trip there last week felt like returning home. It was almost like all of our favorite parts of traveling were rolled into one country just waiting for us to explore.

Nine Photos from Bangkok
We passed through Bangkok four different times and stayed in the city for around two months. It was during our fourth visit that my assumptions and judgments about Bangkok finally slipped away.

Twelve Photos of Topkapi Palace in Istanbul
Sure, at US$13 per person Topkapi Palace is more expensive than most other sites in Istanbul. And no, that entrance fee doesn't cover everything. But on the other hand? Sometimes it's just awesome to see gorgeous examples of architecture and history and culture.

Nine Photos from Bogota, Colombia
The sights and sounds found along the numerous calles and carreras were the most intoxicating. Whether it was vendors selling fresh fruit, brightly painted buildings, or beautiful graffiti, colors as varied as the rainbow tied Bogota together.
